Conducting several sales to our northern neighbors monthly, Honda of Seattle is well-versed in selling new and pre-owned vehicles to customers in Alaska. Here is an outline of the Alaska purchase process:
- Decide what type of vehicle you'd like: Are you interested in a new or pre-owned vehicle? Honda or a different make?
- Stay at home or come to us - the choice is yours: Is it more convenient for you to visit us here in person, or would you prefer to complete the transaction by phone, fax, or email?
- Make the deal: We are very competitive, offering prices that beat many Alaskan dealers, even after shipping!
- Validate out-of-state residency: Three forms of identification are required to exempt you from Washington state sales tax. For example, a driver's license, utility bills, and/or a hunting/fishing license all qualify as valid proof of out-of-state residency.
- Pay for your purchase: We will send the required documents via courier (e.g. FedEx), which you can then sign and send back with your payment. Valid methods of payment are currently cashier's check or wire transfer. If you would like to lease or finance your vehicle then we can do that for you as well!
- Acquiring your new purchase: We can ship your new purchase to you with your choice of shipping company or we can sell you a Washington state 3-day temporary permit if you would like to come down personally. Make a trip of it! If you would like it shipped then we will drop off your purchase at the requested shipping company at no extra charge.

All vehicles are one of each. All Pre-Owned or certified vehicles are used. A negotiable dealer documentary service fee of up to $150 may be added to the sale price or capitalized cost. All offers expire on close of business the day subject content is removed from website, and all financing is subject to credit approval. Prices exclude tax, title, and license. All transactions are negotiable including price, trade allowance, interest rate (of which the dealer may retain a portion), term, and documentary service fee.
