1. Seattle Art Fair

The Seattle Art Fair at Lumen Field Event Center, 800 Occidental Ave. S., is a marvelous showcase of the state’s best art. It’s a famous festival that takes place every July. You’ll find sprawling exhibits of all different types of modern and classical art, demonstrations, and installations. There are also meet and greets with the artists, immersive exhibits, and panel discussions to enjoy.

2. Seattle Chamber Music Society Summer Festival

All throughout July, you can enjoy the Seattle Chamber Music Society Summer Festival at 601 Union St. Ste. 220, plus additional concerts throughout Seattle. This festival features a variety of different chamber music offerings, including concerts, recitals, and open rehearsals.

3. Chomp!

Chomp! at Marymoor Park, 6046 West Lake Sammamish Pkwy. NE in nearby Redmond is a culinary celebration of local, sustainable food and farms. Expect to see tons of food vendors, farm animals, and activities for the kids. There’s also live music, a scavenger hunt, and information on sustainability and conservation. Chomp! is one of Seattle’s premier festivals that takes place every August

4. Chief Seattle Days

Running annually in mid-August, Chief Seattle Days, at 5183 Totten Rd. in Poulsbo, is just over an hour by car from Seattle, but it’s well worth checking out. This unique event celebrates the indigenous Suquamish and Chief Seattle himself with a packed schedule of sports, a massive salmon bake, canoe races, traditional songs, and dances, and honoring the graves of the local indigenous people. It’s easily one of the highlights of the summer

5. Ballard SeafoodFest

Ballard SeafoodFest, at 5345 Ballard Ave., is a longstanding July event that celebrates all things seafood. Expect plenty of tasty dishes, live music, and a family-friendly environment. There’s also a massive vendor’s market, a salmon barbecue with sustainably-sourced fresh fish, and a skateboarding competition.
