I had a fantastic experience at your dealership this morning. I saw an Accord online that I really liked, a 2008 Certified, made an appointment with Kristen and lo and behold, purchased the car! I also took advantage of your online offer of $100 off on any accessory with my purchase. I had a very good experience with your dealership. I went in a little anxious and nervous because It had been quite a while since I purchased a vehicle, but everything went very smoothly and I felt I was treated fairly and with great consideration. My hat is off to all who was involved! Thank you!
After several weeks of shopping around for a truck, and dealing with countless typical car salesman, I ended up at Honda of Seattle. I wish it had been my first stop. Vass worked with me on a used truck they had. A great guy, a pleasure to work with, and I ended up with a deal that I am still extremely happy with. After my experience with the Honda of Seattle team, if I am ever looking for another vehicle, I will certainly not make the mistake of going anywhere else.
Vass helped me buy a car and made it the BEST sales experience I have ever had. He was attentive and really cared about my needs! I am recommending him and Honda of Seattle to all my friends.
Thank you so much to Scott Meyers and the team at Honda for helping me make such a huge decision! I love my new Honda Fit and really appreciated all the time they spent with me to make sure this was the right deal for me. Thank you Scott and Honda!
Thank you for taking such great care of my little Insight. She's running great! And I really appreciate the TLC you gave her during the car wash!
Raza helped me yesterday and I came in last night and purchased a car from him! He provided me with excellent customer service and was so prompt with his response to my inquiry. Please pass on my sincere recommendation for Raza.
I'm based out of Anchorage, and have been working with your Sales Rep Megan. I cannot begin to say how awesome she is. She has (patiently) led me through the process of purchasing a car from a distance and made what could be confusing and complicated really very simple.
Megan was great! She contacted me from an internet inquiry. She provided quick and accurate pricing by email. We discussed in a brief phone conversaton makes and models that suited my needs and provided the most cost effective solution to my problem. She told me what colors were available. I had very little time and wanted the best deal I could get in a short time - Megan provided all that and more. Every other dealer I contacted (I checked out a large variety of different cars) wouldn't give me a firm price unless I came into the dealership. Once there, I had to haggle, talk to the sales manager, etc. And every other dealer ended up with a price higher than what was initially discussed.
I purchased a 2013 Honda Civic from Honda Seattle. My salesperson was Megan Sanders. I was referred specifically to Megan by Eric Rasmussen from Gregs Japanese Auto. Megan helped make the sale go smoothly. I did not intend to buy a new vehicle on that day, only to look. Megan and the sales management team worked patiently with me to show me that a new purchase was possible. The finance department adjusted the sales so that my credit union could take over the financing. I am pleased with my purchase. Thanks Megan.
Have had an excellent experience dealing with Honda of Seattle. The reps there (was dealing with Jacob) as well as the sales manager were a pleasure to deal with. Not only was our experience top notch at the time of purchasing our car. they exceeded our expectation when we had slight problem a few weeks after purchase.
The windshield on the car developed a crack (not sure if this was due to a chip before the purchase or after but they could have easily said "sorry there is no warranty on the purchase and no proof when this happened") and the sales manager (I forget his name but this guy is excellent to deal with and cares about his clients) took his personal time out to meet with us had the windshield inspected and said he would take care of it!
In all honesty this gesture of his has made me a customer for life with Honda of Seattle and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Yesterday I was coming home from work in my car and the ck engine light came on. I immediately pulled over and tried to analyze what was going on but I noticed it started running real rough. I called Honda of Seattle because they were closest dealership that services Honda products I got a hold of Curtis who is one of their service managers and he was able to give me a reliable diagnosis over the phone thinking that one of my coil packs had gone out due to the mileage and age of the car and he suggested I tow it in to them and not risk further damage by driving it. At 5 pm on Friday night I felt there was no way I was going to have my car for the weekend and I was concerned about how much it might cost being on a very tight budget. My AAA tow was free and I arrived at Honda of Seattle at 5:45. Curtis was there to meet me and he and a coworker checked engine code on their testing equipment. They had my car fixed in 15 minutes and the price was well below what I anticipated. I drove away so happy about my service experience with Curtis and the nice folks at Honda of Seattle! I have had lots of bad service shop experiences at other places and many times feel over charged but this was truly amazing service all the way down the line. I was very pleased with Curtis knowledge and his attention to detail. Kristine was very efficient and helpful to get my paperwork and billing all handled as well I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know that owns Honda products for Service and buying or leasing.
I had an excellent experience working with Megan in Internet Sales & Elizabeth in Financing today and came home with the car I had inquired about - very happy! Looking forward to a long relationship with Honda of Seattle.
Our purchase experience for our 2013 Honda Accord Coupe was great and the folks at Honda of Seattle treated us very well. Our salesperson, Jeff Brown, stuck with us throughout the entire purchasing process and answered all of our questions. They even bought us dinner! We came back to Jeff to purchase the Accord as we bought a 2012 CR-V from him last year and our experience then went just as well... Everyone at Honda of Seattle deserves credit for such a great dealership! Thank you all!
I have been going to Seattle Honda for service that last few years. I am very impressed with their customer service and pricing. Every time I pick my car up it is ussually less than what I expected. That is usually not the case in car repair. Thanks Honda of Seattle.
I Just wanted to say you have a great shuttle driver (Robert). This is my first drop off/pick up and I thought we'd be driving for an hour with all the people needing rides, and I would be late for work. When he asked for who needed to go where, I thought we'd be there for a 1/2 hr for everyone's addresses to get either written down on into the GPS. But Robert quickly memorized them all, plotted a smart course in his head and got us all to our destinations quickly.
THANK YOU! Give that man a bonus!
Our experience with Seattle Honda and our sales rep, Salamat, was actually pleasurable! We were pleasantly surprised with the low-pressure atmosphere and the open way all our questions were answered. We will definitely return, should we need another car.
Having my car a serviced at Honda of Seattle was actually a pleasant experience. The service rep, Brian, was courteous and thorough. The work was completed on time and at the specified price. I would recommend Honda of Seattle to family and friends.
Honda of Seattle is the ONLY place to go when you are looking to lease or purchase a vehicle. The service department is top notch! They are always friendly and professional. Timur Malkoc is exceptionally wonderful. I leased a new CRV (my second) and he took me through every step of the search with honesty and style and professional service. OUTSTANDING!
I don't normally review an establishment, however with Honda of Seattle's service it's worth the time. Honda of Seattle - I have been a client for more than a decade and I have been more than pleased with their service department. Everyone makes you feel like your service is important. It is clear, you are a valued customer - No matter how many questions you have to ask. I recently had some major service completed. The clutch on my car failed one foggy Wednesday evening. I immediately called Honda of Seattle in hopes they would be able to fit me in first thing in the morning. Luckily, but not surprisingly, I was told to come on in. That is just one reason I always return. No matter how busy they are they will always make time for your service needs. What I appreciate the most is the communication. Communication between the customer and service department is exceptional! Direct phone numbers are given so you don't have to call the main line then be transferred to service then to the service associate. One call, you're speaking to the service associate! I always appreciate the time and effort given by Honda of Seattle and will continue to be a loyal customer.
We could not have asked for a better sales representative than Jeff Brown. Throughout the process of purchasing our new car, he was always available to answer any questions, promptly returning calls and e-mails. Jeff is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the Honda Fit and its options to us. Very importantly to us, he accomplished this without pressure and made the process as pleasant as possible. Jeff impressed us not only in a professional capacity but also as a considerate and decent person. Honda of Seattle is very fortunate to have him as a sales representative.
Honda off Seattle has an excellent website which enables the customer to become acquainted with both the staff and the inventory. It has a very convenient location, just a short walk from the downtown Westlake Center, and also good customer parking. We had an altogether good purchasing experience and would strongly recommend the dealership.
I've been to Honda of Seattle of couple of times for service of my Honda Pilot, and each time they are professional, friendly and fast. I like the location with easy access to both I-5 and Hwy 99. The staff is very thorough in explaining procedures and breakdown of costs. They call when the say they are going to call. I will definitely go back to Honda of Seattle for service in the future.
This is the my first time buying a car. Scott gave me unbeatable price for 2013 Honda Civic. He is honest, very polite and attentive. The day I reached Honda of Seattle, he was off that day and came back just on my request. It was nice working with him. A+ for Scott Meyers
My first time buying from a dealer could not have been easier and less stressful. Vass, Salamat, Travis and Jeremy were attentive, easy-going, answered all my questions and just great guys to do business with. A+
I bought a Honda Civic 2013 only last week, so exactly a week ago. Jacob Stewart from Honda Seattle helped me and my friend (who got exactly same car), and he was great. We left Honda Seattle feeling extremely happy, thanks to Jacob :)
I really recommend Honda cars, and definitely Honda Seattle. If you are considering getting a car, go and visit them. It didn't take us much time to decide to buy the car. Jacob definitely did all to provide us the best price. Many thanks to Jacob and Honda Seattle!
I just wanted to let you all know how happy I was after my visit to Honda of Seattle on Saturday the 29th. I've been a customer of Honda for quite a long time- mostly in Bellevue and most recently in Seattle (I moved). But my experiences were always so so. And it wasn't until I met Diana Degoede that I felt like I got the whole experience. I know next to nothing about cars so she was extremely patient with me and explained everything so that this time I didn't leave thinking to myself "what did I just agree to?" or "did I really need to do that?" I praise you for having such a knowledgeable and wonderful person as Diana in your team.
We take all our Hondas here for service, including oil changes. They don't try to upsell you on things you don't need (i.e. frequent air filter changes) like the oil change franchises.
I had a fantastic experience with Honda of Seattle. It was my first time purchasing a car after having driven my first car from 17 until now (8+ years!). Raza Abbas was very helpful in showing me each model I was looking at, and detailing all the cars features. I never once felt pressured to buy, or to pick one model over the other--he wanted me to make the best decision based on my needs and wants, and he made sure I got the best deal for me. The whole buying process was smooth and easy. Everyone from the sales department to the finance department were helpful in explaining all my options and never trying to sell me something I didn't need. Additonally, Raza spent time helping me set up the bluetooth capabilities in my car and showing me anything I was uncertain of, so that I could drive away knowing how to function my car! I absolutely love my brand new 2013 Honda Civic and could not be happier with my decision. I know my car will be reliable and anytime I have an issue I won't hesitate to bring it to Honda of Seattle.
Thank you Honda of Seattle team!
I had a great car purchasing experience with Scott Myers.
I had been looking for a 2013 CR-V for a long time so I emailed to all of the dealers in WA. I received lots of emails from dealers, some were rude, some arrogant, and some were not honest. Finally I received an email from Scott, he didn't offer me the best deal but he was so attentive. He replied to my email promptly. He worked hard to get the price I hoped for. I waited for almost two months to finally get the car with the price I wanted to pay.
I have to say Scott is the most honest sales person I have worked with. He is very polite and nice. During those two months of waiting, he told me if I received an even lower offer, he would lower the price and he did.
I appreciate Scott's honesty and good work ethic and great attitude.
If you want to buy a Honda, I would recommend Scott Myers from Honda of Seattle.
This is our second Honda from Honda of Seattle. We have always found that the service people are efficient and courteous. The convenience of having a shop so close to where we work and with van service is GREAT. We are very happy with our Pilot and will most likely buy our next car from you!
This is my fifth Honda, 2nd CRV, so it's obvious I like Honda! The sales people are helpful - one even packed my car to show me my furniture would fit in the CRV! Arranging financing for the purchase was simple. Regular maintenance service never takes long, quick.
About me: First time car buyer. Fresh off grad school with a young family. Next to my education (cost and loan), this is probably my largest life expense to date. Images of the quintessential "car dealership salesman" in my head, I was feeling a little anxious going into this process.
Pluses about Honda of Seattle:
1. They give quotes and negotiate online. Most of the other dealers I asked for a quote from don't. They will insist on a call/visit. For those worried about being aggressively sold to and pressured into a purchase, e-mail quotes are great.
2. They are honest. Two examples: (a) I bought a Civic 2012 from Honda. But was also looking at Corollas. I got a pretty good Corolla deal and my Honda sales rep (Steve) was honest enough to tell me I had a great deal with Toyota. I still went with Honda because the Civic, I felt, is a better car. (b) Just before I drove my new car out of the dealership, the sales rep (Raza) told me they discovered a scratch in my rear bumper. I didn't do a thorough check of the car before leaving, so this was news to me. Raza apologized for the scratch and told me the dealership will cover the cost of repair. It's good to know they don't hide these things from me even when an opportunity to do so presented itself.
3. Honor code system. They let me leave the dealership with my new car before they received the check from my bank and without asking me to sign a ton of promissory paper work. Trust begets trust.
Could be better:
1. I didn't get the promo financing and didn't get a cash incentive in its place (like I might have elsewhere). Oh well.
2. There was a scratch in my rear bumper (see #2 above). No biggie for me but might be an issue for others.
Staff was very friendly and Finance person, once I got in, was smooth and very efficient.
As always - service staff was friendly and clearly explained what was expected to happen with the car and the approximate cost and time it would take. Spot on in both cases and the car works beautifully!
Hi everyone at Honda of Seattle,
Thanks again for your support and the support of Honda of Seattle as I was getting ready to embark upon what turned out to be a 6-month trek around our beautiful continent, visiting 70 cities in 34 states. My plan was to keep the updates coming pretty regularly, but it soon became clear to me that I could not manage to process the many, many videos and photos of the amazing people I was meeting and write about the experience, all while planning my next move along the route.
Now that I am back here at home, I'm excited to start sharing the journey, beginning with this 19-minute video compilation summarizing my tour:
Gabriela Condrea's 2012 Book & Tango Tour - US & Canada
With Honda of Seattle's help, I was able to share my book, When 1+1=1: That "Impossible" Connection, and teach tango all around our country - from San Francisco to San Diego to Houston to Orlando to Portland, Maine and Saint Louis and many places in between. I ended up on stages reading my poems to music in places like New Orleans and Philadelphia, at Poetry Slams and Open Mics in Denver and New York City, doing interactive presentations about my book & tango from Montreal to Sun Valley, Idaho. I grew tremendously through the experience. With a great start, I was able to cover the expenses of food and gas by teaching tango and selling books. With signs on my trusty Honda Civic (driving what ended up being 17,000 miles total without any significant mechanical problems), I sold books even at such random places as a rest stop in California and a gas station in Missouri.
This amazing adventure is a huge building block to my future endeavors to share tango across the world, as well as right here at home. And your sponsoring my tune-up before I left Seattle gave me the courage to ask for sponsorships along the way too, not only for my car - the support I received right here in Seattle before taking off helped me understand the power of the collaborative nature of this journey. During the 6 months I was on the road, I only had to find my own accommodations for 4 nights. This tour was truly a community effort, with people all over this continent pitching in!
Thanks again for your support!
I'm a returning and loyal customer to Honda of Seattle. I leased a civic from Travis about three years ago and my experience as a novice car leaser could not have been easier thanks to him. Since then, I have always taken my car to be serviced here and have always had a pleasant experience.
More recently, I returned to Honda of Seattle to return my lease and purchase a new car. I know that there is a high turnover in the car business, but to my surprise and delight, Travis was still working there, now as the sales manager, and he was able to take a break from whatever sales managers do and help me out with my purchase in addition to Jacob, another salesperson there.
First off, I've heard so many horror stories about returning a lease, but I found it to be an absolute piece of cake. Basically I handed over the key and that was that.
Both Travis and Jacob understood that I wanted to compare the Honda to Toyota and were willing to let me do a side by side comparison and take my time. Despite the fact that car buying usually takes all day, I was given the VIP treatment during the time I spent there and walked away feeling like I had gotten a great deal, and gave great people my business.
In short, I'd feel good about referring anyone to this dealership. You will not ever feel intimidated or beaten down or talked into anything. If you have to deal with car people, you'll want to deal with these people! Trust me!
OK. So anyone who knows me knows I have been through my fair share of bad car-ma. Like buying a lemon. And then another. Well, that streak has ended thanks to Honda of Seattle. I called on a Saturday (spoke with Li) to test drive a Fit. Arrived for my test drive. Ended up dealing with the delightful Jeff Brown. Jeff and I drove and chatted, and I was excited to move forward with what I thought would be a multi-week process.
Trouble was that I had a complicated trade-in situation and a very tight budget. Oh, and my husband and I never have any free time together to do any of this car shopping stuff. And yet, after only a short test drive and another subsequent visit, I ended up driving home my new 2013 Fit! Jeff & the team negotiated an amazing price for my trade in, got all the paperwork and financing done, and made it easy on my time-limited hubby to breeze in and sign a few papers.
I was expecting all of this to be so painful and stressful, when in fact, it was the complete opposite! I am so thankful to have a reliable car again -- especially one so pretty and well-appointed!
Mini did an exceptionally good job of taking care of us. She has a lot of spirit and goodwill.
A big thanks to the service team at Seattle Honda! Brian and his team took care of a gas tank issue and kept me apprised along the way, nice to get that communication. Thanks again everyone, I appreciate it!
Raza Abbas and his team were very helpful. They worked around my hectic schedule, helped me purchase the car I've always wanted, and were truly a delight. They really went out of their way to make things work for me. I would recommend Raza and his team to anyone looking to purchase. Thanks again everyone! : )
Russell in service is OUTSTANDING. His cheery, positive disposition always lifts my spirits even if I need to spend a lot of money which I rarely do as my Honda Pilot is so reliable. I am a lover of HONDAs and Honda of Seattle is tops because of people like Russell in service and Timur in Sales.
My buying experience with Ben Doty was exceptional, no sales pressure, and always wanted to be able to help.
Courtesy shuttle? BAM. Friendly service? BAM. Weekend appointment? BAM. Fixed my baby? BAM BAM.
Car problems are never fun. But if I had to have car problems, it'd be a good excuse to head downtown to this Honda dealer. They took my baby in and fixed her up real good! I at no point felt like I was being upsold, the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and everyone in the chain of service was professional and friendly. The courtesy shuttle was fast and on-time, and the lounge has free wifi and a wicked-fancy automatic espresso machine. One side note, I think I'm allergic to the air freshener they use in the lounge b/c I was sneezing my snotty head off for a few hours afterwards. But near-anaphylaxis aside, I would highly recommend this place!
Vass was friendly and knowledgeable. We are so satisfied both with our new Fit and with the team at the downtown Honda. Thanks!
I've taken both of my Hondas to Seattle Honda for over ten years. They provide excellent service, They're on time and within the estimate that they quote up front.
This was my first car buying experience and Ben made it a great one! There was no hassle and they were attentive to my requirements for the car I wanted. I am so excited to have a new Honda and I am grateful for my experience at Honda of Seattle!
Buying a car is always a scary experience and I'm always worried I'll be pressured or be talked into something that I'll regret. Deb and Travis at Honda of Seattle were awesome. I've bought several cars at many different dealers over my 30 years of driving and this was my best experience ever. They were very patient with me and very understanding and helpful when I changed my mind and they had to do the paperwork over. It was very important to them that I be comfortable and happy with the decisions I made. I can't say enough about how great that felt.
We just wanted to Thank you again for your great service and quick response in helping us get our Pilot. We had dealt with other dealers and their sales people, and had not seen the same level of attention and quick response as we got with you and Honda of Seattle. We were dreading purchasing a new car and when we walked out the door after working with you we were very happy. We appreciated your willingness to work with us and the no-pressure attitude that we experienced with you, your manager, and finance. We will definitely speak highly of you and Honda of Seattle to everyone we tell our story to, and will recommend you if we have the chance.
Jess & Heather H.
I wanted you to know what a great experience we had working with you in purchasing our 2009 CRV-EX-L this past week! You were so pleasant, sincere and knowledgeable and demonstrated integrity and great customer service. You never tried to push us in one direction or another, but listened to our needs and guided us through the process as you continued to follow up with us through every stage. Thank you! We feel so fortunate to have worked with you and will definitely recommend Honda of Seattle, and more specifically you, to others looking to purchase a new or used Honda in the near future.
Thanks again for such an awesome experience!!
My first experience with the service department here was a good (if painfully expensive) one. However, I don't feel like I was upsold at all, and they were very transparent about what needed to be done and what was safe to wait to take care of. Kristine was competent and clear about what my car's problems were.
I needed a muffler and b pipe replaced because the undercarriage of my 01 CRV was rusted and these two pieces had separated. I dropped my car off in the morning, and they called me by the afternoon to update me and explain that because it was a late model they would have to order the part, and my car would be ready the next day. Kristine was very clear about what the parts cost and why, and offered to waive my diagnostic fee (111.00). I looked up parts costs and they were in line with what she said. She was excellent. Mechanics, like surgeons, do something that I absolutely can't do, so they have all the power when it comes to suggestions. I really felt that Kristine was very honest with me about what my car needed versus what it could wait on. Its an older car, so repairs are becoming more commonplace.
I will most likely return to service my car here.
Labor was outrageous though, 350 bucks. Holy crap....but it is a dealership service shop in downtown Seattle, so whattayagonnado.
They also offered me a shuttle service after I dropped my car off (which I didn't need because the bus tunnel is right next door.)
My beloved old Volvo wagon died last week and as much as I DIDN'T want to go car shopping, I need a reliable vehicle for work, so my husband and I went to Honda of Seattle to look at the Civics. I called ahead of time to check on a lease deal I'd heard about and spoke with Jeff Brown. He gave me the info I needed and said he'd be around the next morning if we wanted to stop in and take a look. When we arrived at the dealership, we instantly found the car we were interested in and went for a test drive. Jeff was super knowledgeable about all of the features and details of the car and had answers for all of our questions AND he was really friendly. We discovered that we live in the same neighborhood, so we had lots of stuff to talk about during all of those little waits involved in purchasing a car. The whole process went really smoothly and everyone we met at Honda of Seattle was professional, personable and great to work with! We drove our new ride out of there feeling good and like we'd made a smart choice. I've heard good things about the service department there, so I'll look forward to dealing with them again!
I have had excellent experiences with the Service Department at Honda of Seattle. They offer a great rate on night service. Moreover, Kirsten, the service manager, helped me while on vacation, after I drained the battery and the audio system required a code to again be functional. Great folks there in the service department!
My husband and I were in on Saturday, September 1, 2012, Labor Day weekend. What could have been seen as another chore, ended up being fun! We enjoyed the newspaper, tea/coffee, couch for nap, water cooler, friendly staff, fish in tank, tent in showroom, plus great care from Russell. He helped us with our new tires and service appt. We also enjoyed walking to Pike Place Market and the water front while our Honda was serviced!
Many thanks Seattle Honda Keith and Jennifer M.
This review is for their service department; I don't have experience with their sales' dept. I take my Honda Fit there, but they handle every all makes and models. Every time I go in, it's always great service-- efficient, friendly, and, most importantly, trustworthy! On top of the quality of service, their price is pretty unbeatable. They don't do unnecessary things just to get money from you or just 'cause it says it's "due" on the Honda website. For example, my car was theoretically due for a tire rotation, but they checked the treads which all looked fine. I personally like a service department that thinks for the car/customer and isn't just a drone. Their express oil change is just that, express-- I was in and out of there in under 45 mins as promised. Now they can get busy sometimes, especially on Saturdays. But they always try their best to fit you in when they can. One time I had an emergency situation with my battery and they were able to do a quick check even though their appointment blocks were full. They also have a shuttle which is nice if you don't want to wait in the lounge (that has wifi and vending machines). It has a limited driving radius, but, hey, it's better than nothing. Anyway, I would definitely recommend Honda of Seattle Service Department!
If you're in the market for a new car, buy it here. I was totally comfortable through the entire process. No pressure at all. Great sales staff, especially Kelli. She knows the cars well and tailored a Honda Accord to my taste. Very easy to work with as well. Sales manager Travis was wonderful. Really worked with me to make the deal happen, as well as the finance department. Great dealership that I would recommend to you!
Great team and great service. Mini and Oleg at Honda of Seattle were exemplary in both attention to my needs and taking the extra step in making sure my window chips were fixed. Well done.
This review is for the internet sales department. I was very impressed with Steve Fisher. From the very start I found him to be very knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful in finding me just the right car. He was quick to response to my emails and took extra pictures of the car so that I would know exactly what I was purchasing. I never felt pressured to make a decision.
I love my new "used" car, great price and a wonderful shopping experience. I will certainly contact Steve when I need to shop for another car.
Good pleasant people. Quick to get set-up for work. Had basic OIl and check-out of car and they finished in 1 and half when they promised - called me when done and easy in, easy out. Great place to drop off car since all types of things to do in area while waiting (took trolley to Wooden Boat Museum)
I took my car in for a B1 oil change service and to fix a cosmetic factory recall. I was on a tight time schedule but Christine assured me they could make it happen. When I got there, another service person was skeptical that the work could be done in my 2 hour window but Christine was great and assured me it would be done. It was and I made it out in time to make my next appointment. My experiences at Honda of Seattle have been great, thus far and I would highly recommend them to other Honda owners. They offer shuttle service and are very accommodating. Also a friendly, professional staff. They are located in North Downtown which is a hassle to get TO but 1 block off the I-5 N entrance when you depart.
Got a good deal on an 09 Civic, the whole sales crew and service team that I dealt with were Friendly and transparent about the business. Salmat, Travis and Jeremy are good folks. Had a minor problem with the master key not opening the valet lock and trunk and they took care of it without a second thought. Thanks & keep up the good work.
After some totally lame experiences looking for cars at other dealerships, I finally decided to skip the weird hassles of used car shopping and use the Costco Auto Program to get a 2012 Honda Fit. Costco referred me to Honda of Renton, but their Yelp reviews and constant, urgent-sounding emails made me wary of purchasing anything there, so I emailed Honda of Seattle to see if they could match the price. I got a prompt, courteous response from Ben Doty in the Internet Sales Department who confirmed he'd be able to match the great price quote from Renton and that they had the model I wanted, so I made an appointment to come check out a Fit.
From the minute my partner and I walked in and met Ben, we felt totally comfortable. He was almost disturbingly approachable and cool, and he completely let us lead the experience. He even told us that if at any time we felt like he was being weird or creepy, we should let him know immediately and we could proceed in any way we wanted. We looked at a few different cars, took a test drive, and had plenty of time to talk before we decided to buy. He kept us informed throughout the paperwork process, and since I'd already been pre-approved for a loan through my credit union, he didn't try to sell us on applying for further credit through the dealership. He told us about the optional in-car security system (because he had to), but we never felt pushed into anything. We opted for a few extras, but it was totally our choice! He presented a clear, final price and honored our quote as he said he would.
While we waited for the paperwork to be finished, we got hungry and ordered some sandwiches. When they arrived, we took them into a tent that was set up on the showroom floor, and Ben came into the tent with us to go over the warranty and manual. It was totally awesome and nowhere near the gross, stressful experience we were prepared for. Signing the paperwork was equally easy and stress-free; we were offered gap insurance and another security system pitch, but we declined and moved on with no weirdness. When we finished, the car was detailed and waiting for us on the showroom floor.
I returned a few days ago to get an armrest installed, and the dude I worked with in the service department was as professional and cool as everyone else we'd met at Honda of Seattle. The work was performed quickly and finished half an hour before I requested.
Buying a new car is TOTALLY INTIMIDATING AND SCARY, but I have no regrets about buying my Fit from Ben at Honda of Seattle. Email him!
This review concerns the service department (I haven't purchased a car here).
I've been coming here for a while, first for a regular maintenance appointment, next for an oil change, a broken rear windshield after than, and then mostly recently another oil change. They've always been incredibly clear, transparent, and swift. For example, during the last oil change, I'd scheduled 6 pm express service online, which apparently they don't do but they're website supports anyway. The guy was nice enough to apologize for this inconsistency and then get the crew together to do the change anyway.
The website could use a lot of work--it's difficult to find hours, the service scheduling user interface can be confusing and cryptic, and it feels like an advertisement most of the time rather than an information resource. Fix that and it would be a top notch service department.
Service department is great! They were able to look at my vehicle on a moments notice instead of having to set up an appointment and resolved the issue by the next morning. Very friendly and helpful and made the service inconvenience free. My issue was with the battery failing. I was a little concerned there would be questions over if the cause was me (i.e. having left the overhead light on a couple times) but they did not even question it. Not that I have a long track record with this dealership (I just got my car in early 2012) but I feel that I can trust them. p.s. The buying experience was great also. Worked with Brad who was very helpful and no pressure.
I found a car here through their internet sales department. The price looked too good to be true so I called before coming in. They held the car for us and had it ready to test-drive when we arrived. From the first moment through signing the paperwork an hour or so later, everything about our experience here made it the best car-shopping experience we've had. We dealt with Steve Fisher, who was very nice and professional. He wasn't the skeevy car-salesman stereotype that everyone dreads! He took great care of us, as did the rest of the staff that we dealt with. We paid the advertised price, they didn't push the extended warranty, and although it was a busy day, we didn't have to wait an unreasonably long time. (All things that have been major failing points of other dealerships.)
We will certainly be back when it's time for another car.
Honda of Seattle service department is really great. Rod the service consultant is super knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the work gets done right!
The Service Department staff are great. I bring my CR-V here, and previously my Civic, because of them. They do a great job, but if you are not satisfied for any reason, they do what they can to make it right.
Case in point: About two years ago I dropped off my car in the morning for an oil change and tire rotation with the agreement that it would be ready by 4pm. I come that afternoon, and they had not even started on my car yet. They said if I wouldn't mind waiting, they would get to it right away, but I had an appointment at 5pm. Mimi, one of the staff members, apologized and asked if I would mind bringing in my car the next day. To make it up to me they gave me 15% off my service and detailed my car for free.
Fast forward to present day, and they still provide the same great service. I stopped by for a car wash/vacuum and new wipers and the detailing was free. They always seem to remember me, and the work has always been exceptional. I see no reason to go some where else.
Just bought my first car from Hui Li at Honda of Seattle and it was a great experience. Li worked with us to find a car that fit our needs at a really great price. Can't wait to buy another!
This review is for the service department - I always use night service to get the discounts. I have 2 Accords - a 2004 and 2006.
I've been going to these guys for about 5 years now I have to say that I have been very happy with the service, especially the service reps. My favorite is Kristine, who always takes care of me and (seem like she) is always going out of her way to keep me informed and let me know the score with whichever car I happen to have in for service. At one service event, she noticed I had all these chips in the windshield and offered to handle the whole thing with insurance and get them all fixed - no muss, no fuss. The night service manager, Julian, is also great - very professional and thorough - and so are Kirsten and Rod.
I've never had an issue with any service they have performed, and they always figure out what's wrong with the car. I used to own a 90 accord - they diagnosed a cracked engine block, and spent lots of time figuring it out and giving me options, all for no charge - of course, that was after I'd spent lots of $$$ doing other work on the car. But I thought they were pretty fair about the whole thing. They figured out a front axle issue on my 2004 accord and spent many hours diagnosing and trying different fixes (over 2 days). In the end, I paid only the standard charge for axle replacement (about $600) - thanks Kirsten!
Generally speaking, they are a bit pricey for routine service, although I've not compared in a while. They do have pretty competitive prices for brake jobs. I, too, wish they would throw in the exterior car wash for free (I used to go to Lynnwood Honda, and they always gave the car a courtesy wash), but that's a minor detail - I can afford $27 for a wash and vacuum. You'll pay a little more here compared to discount places, but you'll get excellent customer service, they keep your car running well, and do good work.
We had our old Honda serviced many times by Rod and just think he's the greatest. He is super nice and helpful. He gets to the bottom of problems, explains them well and takes great care of us. We felt well valued even in our old 2005 Accord Wagon. When it came time to replace our car we were very close to buying a Subaru but we new it would be hard for any service department to match the way Rod and Honda of Seattle takes care of us. That tipped our decision. We have a used CR-V now and get to stick with the service department we love!
What a great car buying experience! We felt completely taken care of and everything was explained thoroughly at each step. Thanks to Jeremy, Elizabeth, Timur and all of the Honda of Seattle staff!
I got a check-up, oil change, and tire rotation. They were fast and friendly! I have no complaints!
I used Honda of Seattle's internet sales department to buy my new Honda Fit. Over the years we have purchased many cars from dealers, and to be honest, the experience is usually excruciating. We have been subjected to every sales ploy in the book, and as a result, we are usually ready to bolt at the first sign of that kind of interference.
From the very beginning, Ben was open and helpful. He found me a car (due to be shipped) that met with my requirements. He answered all my questions, and when he didn't know the answer, he asked someone else. When we showed up without an appointment early on a Saturday, he was ready, he had them pull our car right off the trailer; as it had arrived that very morning. We love our new car and would do business with Honda of Seattle again.
Great service, wonderful shuttle driver, speedy car fixing!
This review is for the Internet Sales Department. I used Carwoo to purchase my new 2012 Honda Accord Coupe from Honda of Seattle. Steve Fisher gave me an incredible price on my new accord and from the moment we exchanged emails all the way through the deal he was very polite, professional and helpful! Thanks Steve!
This review is for David Marker of the Internet Sales Department. After driving my new accord it became apparent that the drivers seat was causing back pain and I could not get comfortable. I emailed Steve to let him know of my problem and he followed through and had me talk with Dave. Dave went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable in my new car! This is what I call customer service!
Thanks to everyone at Honda of Seattle for making my experience a great one! I would not hesitate to buy from Honda of Seattle again!
L Marie J.
it's easy to give a good review when everything goes great. It's harder when, as it sometimes happens, things go wrong. I had the proverbial engine light go on and took it in the next morning. Fuel sensor issue. No problem. It's fixed and I go home. Next morning, the light goes on again. Problem. Take it back. Diagnosis is another sensor issue. I talked to the service manager about it. He noted we'd been good customers over the years (not great customers, because we drive Hondas!) and said he'd take care of it. Music to my ears.
Thanks, Service Manager Gary. It's nice to be taken care of.
Bought my Honda Element here years ago. I get all my maintenance here. It runs like a top. They always check everythingt and keep excellent track of the maintenance cycle. It has 125,000 miles on it, uses no oil between changes, and has lost none of its getup-and-go. They keep trying to buy it back for resale, but they can't have it.
I leased a CR-V in 2009 from Honda of Seattle and made the mistake of going to other dealerships to do research on downsizing to a Civic this time around. What a pain! After being jerked around by every other dealer (Honda and otherwise), we finally went to Honda of Seattle and we're glad we did.
I used their online chat tool to get general lease information on the Civic I wanted (but didn't think I could afford) and was helped by Steven. We exchanged a few emails and then, randomly, my husband and I decided to go in that evening to see if we could make a deal happen. Steven, happened to be there and was more than helpful. We took the Civic model I wanted out for a test drive and decided that it was the car for me.
I'm not kidding when I say the 'negotiation' took all of 10 minutes. We got what we feel was a VERY fair deal and the process was painless.
I've used Honda of Seattle for service before and have had mixed experiences. This time was great. Mini is an amazing service agent! Car was done on time, as promised, and they called me to let me know. When I dropped it off in the morning, I took advantage of their shuttle, which drove me all the way home to Ballard. The shuttle driver was delightful (wish I'd gotten his name). Very impressive experience, all around.
I brought my 2012 Honda Civic in for its first checkup. It was too new to really have anything wrong with it. The website appointment worked correctly and Kristine was my service Manager. She was great. Answered my questions, got me in and out of there quickly.
We leased our Honda Odyssey from this place and they were fantastic. We brought in a great lease deal and not only were they willing to honor it with no fuss, but they even adjusted the deal for the nicer Odyssey that we preferred. They were fantastic. And brought in a bunch of hamburgers for us!
This dealerships restored our faith in car dealers!
I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed working with Steve on my purchase of my new FIT. He was ready with the vehicle for me to test drive. He was not pressuring the sale at any time. I love the car and I know from experience from a previous car that the service department is GREAT!
I love my FIT and Honda of Seattle!
Thanks again Steve.
Have taken my 2007 Honda Pilot in regularly to be serviced here. They have always been informative, professional and fair. I have had no surprises in any of my appoinments. I have also used their shuttle service to get to work and back after leaving my car with them and the driver has always been efficient and courteous also.
This is for service department.
I called in my appt a week before and the lady sounded bored and not so into the call. I had asked her about the recall on my CRV and she didn't respond for a long while that I had to ask, "Are you still there?" She said, "I'm checking for record of a recall." How annoying when on the phone and the rep doesn't respond to questions!
Dropped off my 2004 CRV this last Wed at 1015am. I was told that picking it up by 4pm would be sufficient time to do the oil change and the recall work on headlights. My husband and I arrived late at 4:30pm and found that they couldn't find my paperwork. Two guys searched for about 10 minutes and kept asking me who helped me in the morning. The guy in the AM didn't give me a business card. By this time, I was annoyed. Then when they happen to check with mechanic, they find that he's needs 20 more minutes to finish it. I was not happy by this time because no one bothered to call me to tell me it was going to be late. My husband and I could have taken time to work longer. However, there was an optimististic side to this. The guy from the morning came to us and apologized by saying he took full responsibility. He admitted being busy, distracted, and didn't check up on the CRV. It was so sincere I wasn't annoyed anymore. He said he'd give us a free car wash next time. I told him that we were satisfied with the apology and declined the car wash. He went back to help out the mechanic - he was a mechanic too - and it was done within 10 minutes. When I asked to pay for the oil change, he said it was no charge for us. I really wasn't expecting the generosity.
I bought my CRV from Kirkland Honda and had originally been taking my CRV there for oil changes. I left there because they were rude, way too busy, and scratched my CRV when it was new. Ever since then - about 6 years - I've been having Honda of Seattle service my CRV. It's easy since I work in downtown Seattle. They have been consistently providing good service. I'm happy with them.
This review is specifically for the Service Department.
My car was due for a 75,000 mile check up along with a laundry list of small fixes. From the moment I called to inquire if I could use a 12% off coupon on their website to the moment I picked up my car I was impressed.
While the service performed was flawless, it was really the people who made the difference.
It started with Mimi, I believe she is the assistant manager. She has a wonderful attention to detail, and while we waited, she gave me some incredibly useful information on the hybrid cars I was thinking about buying.
Julian - he called me Tuesday night to give me the run down on the costs of repairs I had requested, then he immediately offered several options that would get my car working well while also saving me $700 - literally - $700!!! He even took the time to explain in detail what was being recommended, what that meant to a non-car person (I think elbow cartilage was used at one point :p), and he was patient will all my questions
Emmanuel - he was friendly, thorough and extremely knowledgeable during the final checkout and payment for my vehicle. The repairs were done very quickly, very painlessly, and they were completed for less money than I expected. I will absolutely continue to bring my Honda to this dealership for servicing.
TIP: check out the Honda of Seattle Website for discount coupons!
Thanks for all your help with the new Pilot!
We really appreciate working with someone we like and trust.
Mark and Mary N.
Thank you very much for all of your help with the purchase of our new 2012 Honda Pilot. It is an awesome machine and Andra LOVES it! The little guys like the backup camera the best.
Thanks for your great job selling me my new hybrid!
You are very patient and kind!
Thanks Robert. "So far so good". I've driven the car myself and LOVE it - gosh, I get this weird feeling of re-thinking what to do when my 2010 Accord lease is up like getting a Civic....but then when I get in my 2010 Accord I love "it"....I get torn between the fun sporty youthful feel of the Civic and the sporty mature feel of the Accord. I love my Accord.
I personally have no reason to shop for a Honda anywhere else...and will definitely refer people to you.
Kevin LOVES that Civic SI....he adores it.
Thanks for everything you did for us. Have a wonderful holiday season if we don't talk before the new year.
Bye for now...until the next time!
Just wanted to thank Robert Fabia for a wonderful experience in buying our new Honda CR-V. It was a pleasure buying our new Honda and I really appreciate how easy the whole deal was thanks to your honesty and efficiency. Honda of Seattle will definitely be our first choice when we look for our next car. And of course we are and will happily recommend you to all our friends for their new Honda too!
Thanks again and happy holidays,
Thank you so much! Robert Fabia made the leasing process a pleasure and was wonderful to do business with across the board.
I have to say this was the most successful and pleasant car purchase I've ever had. I was impressed by your attitude, approach, commitment. Robert Fabia, you are one of the first Internet Sales managers that understands what Internet Sales should be. Your quick responses and thoughtful replies allowed me to quickly make a decision. The in-delaership experience was fast and enjoyable. You covered all of the important elements, had the vehicle prepped, and had me out the door in record time. Rebecca made the paperwork process painless and even enjoyable. Her warm attitude and pleasant office was a refreshing alternative to the normal pressure sales and sterile financial managers office.
Even though I live on Bainbridge Island, I look forward to returning to you for service and future purchases. I've shared my stories with friends, and I wish you continued success with making the car purchase experience pleasant and enjoyable.
I just wanted to write a Thank You to both Robert Fabia and Jeremy for making the car shopping and leasing process not only tolerable, but enjoyable. Every other dealer that I went to fit the standard "Car Salesman" stereotypes: the sleazy bait and switch tactic, as well as the standard, "Let me talk to my manager." I cannot express how much of a difference it made to me to find your dealership and to deal with people that I felt were being honest and straightforward. The Honda Accord that I decided to lease is, hands down, the perfect fit for me and my son. I recommend your dealership to everyone that asks about my new car.
Thank you for doing things right and for helping find the right car for me and my family. Also, please extend my thanks to Jeremy for making the paperwork signing process smooth and enjoyable as well.
The service I recently received was terrific, especially the customer service. I think Kristen at the downtown dealership is the person who took care of me. I really appreciate her tenacity.
I love Honda of Seattle :0)
Awesome service every time I come in!!
The night manger, Julian, assisted us personally with our repair. He called us at home in the evening to tell us what had happened to our vehicle, and had the service start first thing the next morning so that I could get my car back as soon as possible. He also assisted in finding a reasonable payment model to split the payment fairly between us and your dealership. I was very happy with what I thought was an honest and equitable exchange. I will look forward to having Honda of Seattle perform my car maintenance in the future, and want in particular to thank Julian for his assistance.
Thank you very much for the professional, easy sale of the Accord V-6 Coupe today at Honda of Seattle.
The car is beautiful and even more fun to drive than I imagined. As I noted to you and your staff, this is my tenth Honda and the engineering quality and thoughtful design has never let me down. The Accord is no exception.
I was even more impressed by the service that you and your staff provided today. Your approach to your customers is very careful, precise, and friendly and I never felt for a minute that you were trying to "sell" me. Your concise answers to my questions, your availability after hours and at my convenience today, and your warm reception and thoughtfulness could not be surpassed and compliments the beautiful cars that you are selling. Please give your Business Manager, Rebecca, my thanks as well.
I will seek my next car at Honda of Seattle primarily as a result of your time and effort to please and I wanted you to know how much I appreciated that.
Best, Tim R.
Thank you so much for installing a new battery on Saturday. Honda of Seattle employees are always so nice, patient and willing to explain things.
It is an oasis of civilization!
I must tell you that my recent trip to Honda City was incredible. My service manager, Carla Miller, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, professional and gracious. That kind of service keeps me coming back to Honda City of Seattle. Sure glad I've bought now three Hondas from you folks. It was also good to see my salesman, Timur, still hard at work helping other Seattleites to purchase one of the best cars on the market. You are a great team and I'll be back...
Michael B. RN, PhD, MSc
A co-worker of mine is potentially looking for a new car, he’s owned two Hondas. He said he’s just feeling a little standoff-ish cause he doesn’t care to deal with car salesmen….but I told him all about how wonderful you are and the staff too…
Hope you’re doing well and I appreciate the awesome service you and the team have provided me (and my son).
See you ‘round.
Lovin the Pilot!!!! Robert Fabia was a absolute pleasure to work with.
My wife and daughter love, love, love the car. Even when they're not driving they want to be in it. One sits in the front studying the manual and all the components. The other finds all the places she can let her stuffed animals sleep.
A family of very happy Pilot owners.
I want to acknowledge a new sales person on your staff, Ron McThomas. Earlier this week, my son and I stopped by to look at used Elements or CRVs. We have purchased nearly all of our cars over the years through you folks, and have always been quite pleased with the cars and your staff.
Ron greeted us upon our arrival and let us know that he was relatively new on the job, but wanted to provide us excellent help. He did. He was knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Unfortunately, there were no used Elements in your inventory, but Ron helped us look at other options within our price range. Later, he telephoned to follow up with us, and hand wrote a nice note. Very exceptional customer service skills in my opinion.
I know it's a tough market, and though Ron's help did not result in an actual sale, I do believe that his sales approach was extremely professional. I hope he has a very successful career with your dealership.
I just got back from taking the boys on a hiking trip to Mount Rainier. Here's a picture of Amelia (we call our Pilot, Amelia, after Amelia Earhart). The ride up and back was outstanding.
Thank you again for working with us. It was truly a pleasure.
Kim and Kevin
I have been coming to Honda of Seattle since 2003 and I am always pleased with the service. I just came in this week to have an oil change and multi point inspection and was charged the $ 35.00 ( with coupon). No one tried to sell me anything I did not need or perform service not essential to the performance of my accord. It is such a delight to feel I am treated with such respect and never taken advantage of.
I recommend your dealership to everyone. So many people think that being in the heart of the city they would get charged more but I have to tell them, “check it out for yourself, you will see they are great”. My car runs great and I never have problems with it, I assume it has a lot to do with how well it is cared for by you guys.
Thank you again for another pleasant experience with Honda of Seattle.
Just a note of thanks to Honda of Seattle!! My first experience a month back was incredible with them diligently working to get me fixed up before my warranty expired. Then after an unexpected side view mirror mishap, Gary had my part ordered and ready to put in immediately. When I arrived at 7:10 this morning, he took my car right away and had me out the door in 40 minutes. I can't say thank you enough or give a higher recommendation. Excellent service!!
We would like to thank some pretty special folks at Honda of Seattle!! When our dear Volvo 244 DL died a sad death after 34 years and 279,000 miles...we knew to call Timur Malkoc!! Timur assisted us in purchasing the Odyssey Van just right for our family of 7!! We have been thoroughly delighted with the van and have joyfully recommended Timur to anyone who would listen. Timur very quickly assessed what we needed in a replacement second car and found just the right used car for us...in minutes!! He quickly had the car available to us to drive and papers were completed within 24 hours!! He had the crew detail the car for us (which it hardly needed!!) and we received our sparkling 2002 Accord V6!! We trusted Timur with our business and came back for more!! Thanks to him and the back office for making this speedy necessary purchase seamless for us!! On our way off the lot, I was backing our van out of parking in the alley and smacked one of the light posts!! AARGH!! So, I drove into the service center and went right to my trusty Service Manager Jesika Marshall!! Jesika quickly took care of my problem by calling Ravi! I purchased a part they luckily had available, Ravi put it in and even buffed out the scratch!! I could have easily just not divulged the ding!! Again, I was struck with how lucky we are to purchase and service our vehicles with Honda of Seattle and how fortunate you are to have such fine examples of exemplary service in Timur, Jesika and Ravi! We truly appreciate you and feel warm when you remember us when we come in!! Thank you All!!
Kathy and Everett S.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I love my new car and you made the buying experience simple, enjoyable, informative and fun. More to come, but I just wanted you to know how happy I am today!! The whole day went well. Thanks for picking me up at the Convention Center and expediting all the processing and informational procedures. Your insider info on the van was fabulous! It only took a couple of minutes to set the mirrors and get settled in and I was ready to roll. The Express lanes on I-5 were open and I made the 5:15 ferry and am thrilled to be at home with my new chariot! Thank you for your help!
We have had multiple experiences in both purchasing and servicing our cars at Honda of Seattle and have had good experiences with both departments. What is the true measure of a business is not how they respond when things go right, but when there is a problem. We had purchased a used vehicle that had a factory issued problem that would not have been easy to find or resolve but Honda of Seattle found it and made it right. Not only did they make it right but they hunted down the issue quickly and resolved it quickly with great customer service. Greg Plank in sales really listened to my concerns and made sure that things were followed through.
A big thank you goes to Ly Le for being extra observant in the detail shop or this could have gone on for awhile if he had not noticed a spot still wet in the interior. With more than one family member allergic to mold this would been a big issue.
Another recent example of the outstanding service department was when I realized at 5P on a Friday night that a low driveway had caused a plastic under-mount protection piece to drag. I called and spoke to Oleg Balushka who understood my limited description "car talk style”. He was able to determine that was fixable quickly within 24 hours and that it was something that I should not try and save money doing myself. I arrived after battling Friday night bridge traffic with a hungry 11 year old in tow and met my husband who was car less from work at the dealership. When Ryan Bull checked us in at 5:50P I had the brilliant idea of going to eat first before getting a ride home. A free ride to the restaurant by our charming Honda Service driver Tesfi got us to the restaurant. By 6:15 we received a call in the restaurant of our options for repair and costs and it was determined that we could pick up the car already fixed and take it home after our meal. We called back and coordinated with Ryan Bull who made sure it got done on time. We arrived back at Honda of Seattle Service to pick up our car and with Ryan quickly checking us out we were headed home by 6:55P! I think the Service department is exceptional and dedicated in large part due to the stewardship of Paul Svenkerud, the service department director who really stays on top of his department. I really find that the people who work at Honda of Seattle care about their work, the quality of service they deliver, and work hard to help their clients. They re-enforce my trust with every interaction and are a business that I can wholeheartedly recommend for both service and sales.
Kirsten Mason went above and beyond when I went in to get my Honda serviced. She was great to work with!
I just want to commend HOS for excellent treatment. I don't usually go to a dealer for routine maintenance, but clearly HOS is proving themselves as a good place to go for other-than-warranty service. Oleg is great, and you people run a first-rate shop.
Carla Cooper is my nominee for "the best service person" ever. Not only is she competent and confident and friendly and concerned, but she's got the best interests of the customer in mind at all times! She deserves a reward, but we both agreed that there's no reward for "the cutest" customer service rep, so we'll just settle for "The best"! Honda of Seattle, and her husband and family, should be very proud of Carla! Thank you for sharing her with us!
PS - There is no substitute for confidence in your customer care service when people see the bright and clean wooden ramp and floor in the car service area. Any company that can keep this glistening and ancient floor so clean is worthy of our respect!
It is increasingly rare these days to get thanks for great service, but I'd like to give some.
Teklit, your shuttle driver, is outstanding. He's kind, prompt, professional and very personable. He is very service oriented and Honda is fortunate to have him as your employee.
Especially in light of the current difficult economy, this kind of feedback is good to get. I thought I'd pass it on.
I'm a small business owner in Seattle and because of that, I feel it is of special importance that I write to you to laud your employees. With the economy in falter-mode, the interface between your employees and your customers means the survival of your business. I know this very well.
You service rep, Jesika Harbrecht is uncommon in her warmth, kindness, care and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure her customer's experience is unexpectedly good. I have had limited personal contact with Julian, the service tech also associated with my ultimate repair, but I sense the same kind care I did with Jesika. These employees will ensure that I return to Honda of Seattle and I will make sure I interface with them.
Thank you for your good judgment in hiring such great employees.
Your service was great and your shuttle service continues to amaze me.
Thanks for your and Carla's great customer service.
You guys do it right. :)
Thank you for your assistance in purchasing my Honda Accord yesterday! I am very excited and very pleased with your service during the purchase process. I appreciate your willingness to help me understand everything about Honda cars and the Accord especially. I have never owned a Honda vehicle, and I think this is a great start. This is my first car I completely own and am paying for and I will definitely recommend Honda of Seattle to others. Great job on your first day/first sale!
I will definitely let you know if I have questions and refer you to family and friends! :)
Thanks and Take Care!
I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you what a pleasant experience I had at Honda of Seattle. I had a critical situation where I needed a completely new set of keys ASAP. Honda of Seattle was here for me. Not only was the staff (everyone from the receptionist, the service staff and sales people) courteous and friendly but the work on my car was done promptly- they got me in for service within an hour!- and efficiently. I highly recommend Honda of Seattle! Kudos to your staff.
I really appreciate your help; it's been a pleasure working with you. You've gone above and beyond what other customer service advisors have done with any other car I've brought in for service anywhere. THANK YOU! I hope Honda of Seattle knows what a gem they have in you.
PS - I worked in advanced customer service at American Express for two years. So I KNOW the difference between adequate and outstanding customer service. Yours is outstanding, absolutely.
Bravo to your dealership. Buying a car, with all the haggling, mark-ups and un-needed services made me dread ever wanting to buy a car. Your dealership had none of that! You gave me a fair price up front and if I didn't want something, there was no hard sell. I got a fair price for my trade. I love my new car. I will be back next time I need to buy another car. If anyone asks me where they should go to buy a Honda (or Toyota) I will send them to you.
Tim M. & Hui L.
A quick note to tell you how grateful and impressed with the service and actions of Paul Svenkerud in your service department.
I called to tell him that not one, but both my front door locks had frozen on my Honda Element. Paul said my warranty had expired, but agreed there was no good reason for the car to fail in that manner. He then took it upon himself quickly to resolve the problem and offered to have Honda of Seattle just "take care of it". Well, with that kind of extremely rare loyalty from you guys, you've now earned mine. I never would buy any car but a Honda, and I now will not buy or service any of my cars with anyone but you.
Classy move Paul.
My experience with Honda of Seattle was simply stellar. After comparing some cars at Consumer Reports I decided that my top three criteria were cost, gas mileage and reliability. Needless to say all roads pointed to a Honda. I was more or less sold on the Honda Fit as it met all three of my requirements. I sent an email from the online site and received a prompt response from Tim Miller. We spoke on Friday, December 11th. Tim was able to firm up some details and I shared that I would be in on Saturday December 12th.
From this point forward it was smooth sailing. Tim remembered our conversation and what I wanted to test drive. He introduced me to Travis Ault and we were on our way. The test drive was functional and fun, having an opportunity to chat about the car among other things. We returned to the dealership after a 3 mile ride. I was not really sold on the ride of the Honda Fit. At this point Tim and/or Travis mentioned that there were new 2009 Honda Civics that were being marked down. At the encouragement of my friend, I took this car for a ride and well I was sold. The 2009 Honda Civic had everything I was after (and the color that I really wanted) and I could not be more pleased.
My friend and I had to make a quick run but returned to work with Robert Fabia. I found him as well as the other two associates to be confident, clear and concise in sharing pertinent information regarding the purchasing of the car. After confirming the price of the car, amenities and other particulars; it was time for financing.
This was the easiest part as my credit information came back quickly and afterwards I was presented with a few options. I really love the low 1.9% financing that I qualified for. Afterwards, I sat down with Brandon Witz and closed the deal on my brand new car.
Overall, this transaction could not have gone smoother in my wildest imagination. I had not purchased a car in over 15 years and it was reassuring to see that Honda of Seattle lived up to its slogan: "Hassle Free and Easy".
Thank you very much! Wonderful job! You guys have an excellent service department and the detail shop does a killer job! Keep up the good work!
I only have a minute, but I would like to say that our saleswoman, Cresta-went above and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed the short amount of time (as she made the process extremely fast) we spent with her. We did not feel pressured in any way as we were at other dealerships. We will definitely look forward to purchasing another car from her at Honda of Seattle in the future. Again, thank you for the great service!
Your team did a great job as usual. We absolutely love the overnight service. Our other car is a Volvo, and although we like the car, the requirement that we service it during the day is a huge hassle. Now that we've been spoiled by the overnight service we're shocked when other dealerships don't offer it. It seems like such a no-brainer now.
My name is Kara N. and I recently (Monday!) purchased a 2006 Honda CR-V from one of your Sales people, Victor Nebre. I just wanted to let you know how fantastic Victor was to work with. I was very green on how to go about buying a car, financing it, etc (I have always had old, beat up cars that I simply pay for in cash) and Victor was incredible to work with. He understood that I was new to the process and did not pressure me to make a decision before I was ready and was very patient throughout the entire process. I felt like he was genuinely interested in helping me to find the best car for me, not simply the most expensive car I could afford.
I live over on the east side, very close to Honda of Kirkland. I had met with a sales person there prior to meeting Victor and coming to Seattle Honda. Although it would have been easier for me to purchase a car from Kirkland Honda, the level of service and patience that Victor provided made it crystal clear that I wanted to bring my business to Seattle Honda instead.
I am extremely happy with the car that I purchased from Victor and I feel incredibly comfortable with my decision. I will recommend Victor and Honda of Seattle to any friends looking for a new or certified car.
Thanks so much,
I wanted to thank you and your team. Rod was my service advisor. He was great professionally and had a wonderful sense of humor. And, best of all, I needed to catch a flight out of town at 3 so I needed my car by 1. With a full service that might have been challenging, but he assured it and delivered it and had the car washed in and out.
That is great service. Honda of Bellevue is actually closer to me than your company, but I will always come down to you guys.
Thank you and please thank Rod and the technical team.
Your service at Honda of Service is nothing short of precision and comfort. I feel very satisfied and trusting in the work you guys say you will do and getting it done the right way. Thank you again!
I had an excellent experience on Saturday. Kudos to Jesika, who went out of her way to make sure my requests were honored.

Thank you so much - you went way ABOVE my expectations. I did not expect a full detail and frankly you have my detail biz going forward - they did an amazing job!
Thanks again for restoring my confidence - I will continue to give your location my business.
Kirsten was great and I again really appreciate the second look as I love this car and try to take very good care of it.
I was extremely satisfied with your service, fast and professional especially I would like to thank to Jessika. She helped me through the process very well. She explained what was wrong and what was my option so clearly. She was prompt, professional and friendly.
I definitely go back to Honda of Seattle for further maintenance and repairs.
Thank you for your great service.
Last month I had my 1995 Civic serviced at Lynnwood Honda and was told I needed a replacement part only available "after market" because it was discontinued. I drove my car to Honda of Seattle where the Service Manager checked out the gear shift problem, without charge, and found (correctly) that it had nothing to do with what I'd been told at the other dealership. Thank you, from now on, I'll be having my car serviced at your dealership.
I have been a HONDA OF SEATTLE Service long-time customer since 1989 when first
I bought a brand new Civic Honda. I have it replaced with 1989 Honda Accord Coupe in the late 90's.
I am very very satisfied with these Honda cars, keep telling my family and friends to buy them.
Chad has been my constant service person and I'm glad he has been promoted. Please extend my Congratulations.
Thank you very much!
Wonderful job! You guys have an excellent service department and the detail shop does a killer job! Keep up the good work!
I would like you to know what a great job Tony Robertson did yesterday in selling us our 2008 CRV. I had looked at the car the previous week and he gave me a quote then and we did some looking around and decided to come back and purchase the car from him. He is a good salesman-very knowledgeable. You should be proud to have someone as competent as him working for you.
Nancy & Bob D.
I must tell you that your service department is EXCELLENT! As I have heard from others. I worked with Jesika Harbrecht, who was just wonderful---she asked Armando to drive with me to pinpoint the problem, which he did, and showed me with the car on the struts. The van driver who took me home was great. The entire experience was all that I had hoped for, and Jesika and I forged a fine relationship. The reliability of my car is why I bought a Civic, and it is great to know that it will be well taken car of when I need service. I shall recommend Honda of Seattle to all who need assistance. Thank you all for the assistance I received and it was personalized by JESIKA along with ARMANDO.
People usually only give negative feedback or complain about bad experiences, so I wanted to take the time out and give excellent feedback for Jesika Harbrecht. She was friendly, helpful, positive, and the whole experience of working with her was great. I hope I get to work with her again the next time I bring my car in.
I'd like to take the opportunity to congratulate you, or whoever did, on hiring Ms. Jessika Albrecht. It shows that you have, or whoever did has, a keen sense in evaluating prospective employees who possess superlative people skills. I was also very impressed by the facile and lucid way she could convey matters relating to the work that was necessary for my car. A+ employee.
Dear Mr. Svenkerud,
I have been coming to Honda of Seattle for ~5 years for car repairs and maintenance and I am always very impressed by how friendly and helpful your whole team is every time I have an appointment. Over the past year, Rod Ridley has helped me numerous times and always goes the extra mile for me. I just wanted to make sure you know (though I am sure you do) how great Rod is at his job. For me, I am grateful that I have a car service station that is honest and helpful. It makes car repairs, even when it costs a lot, much easier to take care of. :o)
I just wanted to let you know that I received excellent service from your department both Monday and Today. Not only were things fixed quickly, the associates I worked with (Mini & Jesika) were both informative and helpful. I was lucky enough to have a catalytic converter covered under a state warranty; I had no idea the warranty existed and I'm sure it only causes more work on Honda's part. I not only appreciate the amount of money it saved me ($1800 to be exact). I was also just informed by Jesika that Honda also took care of couple rusted bolts and back-up O2 sensor for me as well. I cannot thank you enough for the amount of stress Honda has saved me this week. I am very thankful and will continue to bring my car in and recommend friends to do the same. If the two associates I worked with could be recognized for their kindness and great work, that would also be appreciated.
My service yesterday was excellent from start to finish: cordial, punctual and easy, thanks to the new system of paying on the floor. Great job!
THANK YOU! We had an exceptional experience.
Kudos to your whole team - Dan, Brandon and in particular Timur. Timur was a consummate professional and really knows his stuff. We appreciated your special touch but know you will be glad to hear that Greg and I felt like VIPs from the moment we walked in the door. You run a terrific business. I look forward to many happy miles in my brand-new Civic Hybrid!
The professionalism and interaction was the highest I've experienced in any automobile servicing environment, you should take great pride in your Team - thanks again.
I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with the way that your dealership dealt with my purchase.
Last Monday, after I purchased my car I noticed antifreeze dripping from underneath my vehicle. I took it into my mechanic who tested the radiator and found out that it needed to be replaced. The clutch was also slipping and needed to be replaced. It was advertised as having a new clutch, so I was a bit dismayed at the vehicle needing all of this work done since a safety test was supposedly done.
I contacted Dan Murphy and he set up an appointment to have the car looked at. Sure enough, the radiator needed to be replaced along with the clutch. The work needed to be done in two days so I was given a loaner car to use in the meantime. All of the work was done to my satisfaction and you stood behind your car after it was sold. This is truly a case of taking a negative situation and turning it into a positive.
Everyone at the dealership was courteous and professional. Carla in customer service (repairs) was very knowledgeable and honest. She kept me updated on the status of my car and when it would be completed.
I own three Honda's now and am loyal to the brand. I will certainly visit your dealership when I need to make my next car purchase. A dealership that stands behind their product is important to me. You have earned my trust!
Thanks for the exceptional service.
I have to send a note because while we are at the start of our search we have had less than pleasant experiences at other dealerships. This was NOT the case at Honda of Seattle - both William Madison and Cresta were fabulous - did not feel the typical high pressure sales tactics and left feeling well informed with the info we need to make a decision. When we are ready to make a purchase - if that is a Honda or Toyota (which I am 99% sure it will be)- we will definitely be contacting Honda of Seattle. I'm a pretty avid blogger/reviewer and already posted good comments about my experience there and would highly recommend your dealership to anyone shopping for a new or used vehicle. I've been a longstanding customer of your service center and feel that they too are the best in town.
Jennifer & Curt
Dear Mr. Fleischmann:
I am writing to say what outstanding service our family received from Honda of Seattle. I went to other local Honda dealers and called several in my search.
Your dealership was head and shoulders above the rest in both knowledge and service. Every single one of your employees I met was delightful. Because I am a budget minded mom who is discerning on what I wanted, I visited several times and met, Dan Murphy, Mike Vena, Sid, and Darrell. All of these young men were helpful and straightforward without the feeling of pressure to buy. I really appreciated their sense of camaraderie and sense of humor. You could feel that they enjoyed where they worked.
I have the utmost respect for Dan Murphy who knows his business. He helped educate me so that I felt comfortable about the process and pricing. I test drove the car prior to it being certified and cleaned and was impressed with the quality without the buffing up. It is a testament to Dan's good eye on the purchasing. After making the purchase, I asked Mike Vena (late on Friday night) when I could pick up the car. I was expecting him to say next week, he disappeared into the back and came back to report he would try for Saturday night. Having been without a car for a few weeks, I really appreciated this kind of thoughtfulness. (My teenager will love having mom drive her to soccer in a new car as well).
I would highly recommend your company. The follow up was prompt. Keep up the good work on hiring such good employees. Thank you for making buying a used car fun! Our family will be really happy driving around in our like-new-used Honda Pilot.
P.S. Brandon Witz who handled our paperwork did an excellent job and of course I know that my car will be serviced by the best since you employ Cam McDonald who told my husband to come there in the first place.
I would like to take this opportunity to compliment you on the excellent service I received from your service advisor Jesika Harbrecht. This is the second time I've had the privilege of having Jesika be my Service Advisor for work on my Honda Accord. She was very courteous, professional and thorough in documenting the service items I requested and those additional items that were found by your competent and thorough maintenance staff. I appreciate your staff and will continue to bring my Honda to Honda of Seattle for service!
You guys did a GREAT job with our Honda repair and were outstanding to take the car and park it in a protected spot at the dealership, so it would not get further damage to the interior, while it had no passenger side front window. Considering the car was only "2 weeks old" , was our college daughter's first car, that she was so proud of, and then to have a freak accident by a lawnmower shooting a rock thru the window... you were also very considerate and empathic when we brought the car in.
I have not received any satisfaction survey calls, e-mails, or mailings to rate my overall experience of purchasing/financing the car, and that process was most excellent, as well.
So please consider this my "satisfaction survey".
Renee', a very satisfied Honda customer
We received exceptional service from both Oleg and Veronica. when we needed to make a quick decision, and then have quick turnaround on getting a tire replaced. Veronica helped me to reach Oleg, so I cd get the information I needed, and then Oleg expedited service on the tire replacement, so my husband could get to his appointment on time. We so appreciate the extra effort and care both of them took to help us.
Thanks again for the wonderful service and courtesy your service department provided yesterday!
The new Fit has been working out great, We are really enjoying the gas mileage and versatility of it. It also is the "big winner" when parking downtown, we always seem to find a spot! We had such a FUN time buying from you, best new car experience ever, including the 2 previous cars I purchased from Honda of Seattle. I hope all is well with you!
Thanks for the information.
I just want you to know that your staff are great. They gave me the best service, and this includes Chad, Mini, the Shuttle drivers, the staff who process our payments and just anyone who I came into contact with. They made the best recommendations for my car servicing and gave great customer service. With a staff like that I do not want to take my car anyplace else. And this follow-up email rounds it off.
Thanks - I sent an online compliment in. Dan Murphy was awesome; he and Brandon worked financing magic. Spent quite a while with Nathan - really nice guy. Definitely sending friends to you guys.
Thank you for your e-mail and congratulations on our purchase of our 2008 Honda Odyssey. We have a 2003 Odyssey that we purchased from Timur in June of 2004. I loved that Odyssey and I love the new one. My older Odyssey will become my daughter's car even though there is over 93,000 miles on it. I have found my Odyssey to be extremely reliable and fun to drive. It is the perfect car for me with my three dogs for traveling, going to the vet or whatever else I need to do.
We love working with Timur and going through the Costco program for buying our automobiles. It makes shopping and buying a a car a pleasurable experience rather than the stressful purchase from hell which car buying is more often than not. The incentives at this time a year are also very attractive and moved my husband to make the purchase that we made.
In addition to loving my Odyssey and its reliability, I have found the service department to be very good and helpful and the personnel extremely nice. If only Honda made a nice sports car with a manual transmission, four seats and no blind spots when looking out the back, my husband would have bought a car as well. Oh well, perhaps in the future.
Thanks again for the congratulations.
I just wanted to thank you and your staff at Honda of Seattle for the great care given to my car since my purchase in '88. My car has 367,000+ miles on the odometer. It has provided dependable use because your department has helped me maintain it. You, and the friendly personnel of your department, have been absolutely excellent. Your service department is why I have told so many of my friends to buy a Honda at Seattle Honda and to trust Seattle Honda to maintain it. Thank you, to you, Mini, Chad and everyone else for being there.
Just wanted to tell you that Mini Juarez and Cam (last name?) saved my vacation. I was putting shade film on my windows and my credit card fell in between the window and the frame of the hatch. I brought my Insight in the next day (first day of my vacation) and Cam had the gasket off and the card out in 15 minutes. Both he and Mini saved the day. They are both professional and personable and I am happy to work with them when I bring my car in for regular service *and* the little oddball things in my life.
I absolutely love this car! I could not be happier with it. When people have asked where I bought it, I have been happy to tell them where and why -- because I really liked your sales people.
If I hear that anyone I know is shopping for a car, I will certainly refer them to you.
I wanted to thank you very much for taking the time to provide information to me even after work hours. As usual, it has been great dealing with Seattle Honda. This is the 3rd car I have purchased from your dealership and will continue to do so in the future.
I appreciate both you and William's professionalism and no high pressure tactics.
I am happy to report that I am extremely pleased with the service and assistance I have received at Honda of Seattle. My wife and I are not new to Hondas. Between us we have owned 6 of them over the years. The fact that we keep buying them should tell you how well they have worked for us.
Honda of Seattle is new to us. Work and home geography has made you the most convenient Honda dealer. Your staff is quickly making Honda of Seattle our favorite. I would like to commend Rod Ridley and Timur in particular as being very pleasant and informative.
The Fit is a great car. I was pretty excited when I first saw one on the road. The way the back seats fold down really cinched the deal. I did look at the Scion and the Versa, but the Fit was the obvious choice.
My name is Cynthia, my husband's name is Raymond. We recently were on vacation in Seattle and decided to purchased a Honda Ridgeline from your business located on Olive Way.
The reason for this e-mail is simply to say thank you for your outstanding staff. They not only made us feel very comfortable with our choice of vehicle but the confidence and warmth that was shown by your staff.
Our Sales Consultant was Michael Vena. He was not only knowledgeable about the vehicle of interest, but also was quick to make sure we were well taken care of during our time of considering purchase or not. We also received a follow-up phone call from him about a week and half later to see how we liked our vehicle.
Ward Fleischman also played a key role in our final decision. He shared his personal experience with his own Ridgeline(s). He too was very laid back and in no way made of feel like we had to hurry up and make a decision. (this has been our past experience with sales with other vehicles we have purchased in the past)
Our Finance Manager was Debbie Crutchfield. She was quite knowledgeable herself and very friendly.
Raymond will be retiring sometime in the next year or so. I'm crossing my fingers we will be moving to WA. If we do, I'm confident we will be repeat customers to Honda of Seattle.
Thank you again for a wonderful staff that made our purchase painless.
Cynthia & Raymond
I just wanted to drop a line and say the dealing with Rod Ridley was great. He was friendly, informative, and professional. While Hondas are not new to my wife and I (We have owned 6 between us), Honda of Seattle is. So far it has been the best car experience I have ever had.
